OOTD : Gingham & Louis Vuitton!

So as of lately I have been feeling this Louis Vuitton, Burberry vibe. A classic look with warm tones and multi textural heaven and using gingham and Burberry print with accessories and on design features such as scarfs, collars and cuffs.

Colour pallets of burgundy, navy, cream, silver, gold with with white and black as a staple, but black and white are used in all of my outfits!

Burnt Blaze Pocket

This look was taken by the gorgeous Lauren, My besty.
Its a quite classic "me" look, simple and classic. Jeans, top and accessories from TOPMAN, shoes from Monoco and My glasses are real, so...Specsavers? haha
The random clip on my trousers, yeah that was put there by Lauren about 2 years ago, we were clipped together at a computer but yeah, long story short. OH right yes, my bracelets are from when I was younger and one if from my nan ^_^

Lack Of Sleep & Sun Rise

HELLO HUMANS

So lately, I haven't really been sleeping much. And when I do its around 5am. So as it is nearing summer I have seen the sun rise earlier and earlier. Nocturnal right?? hahah

Well any way, took this picture and I thought I would share it. It was not planned, I wasn't looking for something to take a picture of, but it was just so inspiring too me. I had too.

As I said, The sunny weather has been lovely, we hardly ever get any in the UK, hence our pasty complexions and multiple layers of clothing haha

Although now my garden looks like a tropical something or rather which is defiantly encouraged at all times! As you can see It is rather beautiful and I would much like it to stay like this all summer....although it was raining today so I doubt it.

HAIR BABY!

So I have changed my hair colour once again.
Its a Blonde/Brown/Ginger. First I used Schwartzkopf XXL Platinum Blonde and Then Schwartzkopf  LIVE Salon Style Chocolate Brown. And it went this colour! And I am so happy with it!
It makes my skin look warmer, and the blue in my eyes look more.....blue? So in Conclusion change is good and I feel this is a great colour for the summer.

Apart from that, I have been designing my final collection for college that the theme is "insanity" But no previews until its done ;) So keep posted!

Summer Is Coming!

So obviously summer is around the corner, so colour is in! I went for a obnoxious red thin knit jumper that I got at a charity shop for 99p...99p!!! Seriously, I strongly suggest you having a rummage through your charity shops, you can find amazing pieces for ridiculously low prices.

I paired it with some plain black skinny jeans which were surprisingly cool, and also some plimsolls. If you would want a slightly more summery edge, I would roll up the bottoms of the trousers so that they were just above the ankle.

And finally my accessories. A stopwatch necklace to add my own little flair, I have a love for old, vintage and rusty looking pieces. And a watch that I also picked up at the charity shop for £1.99.

Inspiration & Influence

 Inspiration:
Latley I have found these particular images to inspire my clothing and shape choices while designing. These pictures were taken in the National Design Museum, The Natural History Museum, Paddington Station and A Building near the River Thames.

 I like the different textures in the bones, teeth and also the shapes and panel's in the building roof. The old look of it all I find with all the shapes and contrasting textures you can not find in modern architectural buildings or objects.
